About
The Troutu University was formed as a result of Steve's realization that there is not one site on the intenet where all trout fishermen, regardless of experience, can go to for information. Chancellor Steve and Professor Jerry have a combined experience of 40 years of trout fishing primarily in the Southeast. They have developed and adapted techniques and methods of fishing that are unique to the wild trout that habitat the small mountain streams that are common in that area.
Dan, from Minnesota, is an expert on cold weather fishing and concentrates on the larger wild trout found in the larger rivers in the area. Steve, Jerry and Dan make up the resident staff.
The adjunct professors, Tom and Brant are all professionals with many years of teaching fly fishing as well as guiding. Their experience is not limited to the Southeast area, but includes the major streams in the West and other major trout fishing areas as well. They bring an overall excellence to the University.
You are encouragesd to learn more about them personally by clicking on their names below: Also, from time to time, there will be more professors added to the staff as well as visiting lecturers and professors, so check back often.
