- Be sure that you dress in layers. I use fleece garmets because they are warm, light and can be discarded if you fall in.
- Fleece igarments are easy to remove and pack if you become too warm.
- If fly fishing, it is adviseable to wear shirts with pockets for fly boxes, etc.
- In cold weather it is adviseable to wear insulated underware.
- In warm weather, wear light airey clothes that breathe.
- Expect rain especially if fishing in the mountains as thunder storms arise quickly. I keep a "rain parker in a pouch" tied to my waist.
- Wear a hat to provide shade in summer and to conserve heat in the winter.
- In winter wear warm boots; in summer wear good hiking shoes, and always wear good comfortable socks.
- Also, in winter wear gloves to keep your hands warm. eoprene is a good choice while fishing.
- Remember, there are disposable hand warmers and the more durable fuel fired handwarmers are available.
