We at Trout University continue to add classes to bring our visitors up a learning curve and make them the best possible fly fishermen possible.  We have started with the very basic descriptions of reels, poles, lures, flies etc. and now we have progressed into the Advanced.

Fly fishing’s most exhilaration action is enticing a trout to strike at a fly that you have created yourself; and it is not that difficult!  "Class 302 Fly Tying for Trout: Introduction and Basics" is intended to acquaint the fishermen with this art and teach him the basics so he can indeed create his own flies.  So give it a try and be creative.

Simple fly to simulate an ant.

By the way some of the best and most famous flies were created by women.
